A global leader in motion and control technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to enhance product manufacturing processes. The role focuses on developing new methods, ensuring cost efficiency, and collaborating with various teams on design and production. To support our team, the candidate's primary responsibility is to identify and develop the manufacturing process for new Industrial products. This includes the development of new methods and practices for the design, manufacturing, and tooling concepts while utilizing the Simple-By-Design approach.
This role will be embedded within and work closely with Product Engineering to drive design-to-cost actions, enhance designs for manufacturability and ensure the product costs are in line with the project scope. The group works closely with plant quality, manufacturing, and process engineering functions to ensure the product's manufacturing process and production cost targets are achievable at full-production scale.
