Job summary

Meta’s Infrastructure Business Operations Support (IBOS) seeks a Logistics Operations Lead to own NPI and lab support across NORAM field logistics, focusing on the last mile of introducing new hardware platforms into Meta's logistics and 3PL network.

This role liaises with Hardware Engineering, field operations, and supply chain partners during product ramps to validate receiving, staging, storage, kitting, and distribution flows, and to standardize processes for scalable execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or technical site services within a data center, large-scale infrastructure, or a comparable industrial environment.
• 8+ years of experience in managing inventory control processes, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and asset tracking across distributed locations.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects involving third-party logistics providers, infrastructure teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience developing and managing operational metrics and KPIs to drive performance accountability and continuous improvement.
• Experience with supply chain processes spanning procure-to-pay, including business process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own NPI execution and field logistics readiness for new hardware introductions.
• Ensure new hardware platforms can be received, inspected, stored, kitted, and distributed from day one of ramp.
• Serve as on-site logistics point of contact during first-article receipt, qualification builds, and pilot ramps.
• Detect and resolve material flow, packaging, labeling, and handling issues before they scale.
• Define and document NPI receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution SOPs and playbooks.
• Drive standardization across sites once a product transitions to steady-state.
• Design and run operational readiness reviews as gate checks before new-product field execution begins.
• Drive after-action reviews after each ramp, feeding learnings back to improve future introductions.
• Partner with Hardware Engineering, DCE/SiteOps, ENS, DCC, and supplier/CM teams to translate requirements into field plans.
• Track ramp health indicators and translate demand signals into field logistics requirements ahead of ramp.
