Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to apply electrical engineering to support manufacturing of electronic and electromechanical products. You will lead the transition of new products into production, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Collaboration with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations will ensure manufacturability and reliability while tooling, fixtures, and test requirements are developed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 35 years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, bills of material (BOMs), and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and transition of new electronic and electromechanical products into manufacturing.
• Provide electrical engineering support to production by troubleshooting manufacturing, test, and product-related issues.
• Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Design and implement manufacturing tooling, fixtures, test equipment, and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, routings, process specifications, and standard operating procedures.
