Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise hardware product development.
• Hands-on NPI ownership from design through production.
• Experience with outsourced manufacturing: CMs, ODMs, and suppliers.
• Direct experience with factories in the US and Asia on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead product from design release through EVT, DVT, PVT, mass production, sustaining, and end of life.
• Own the NPI schedule, milestones, exit criteria, and readiness reviews.
• Create part numbers and BOMs, maintain them in PLM, and release to contract manufacturers and suppliers.
• Write ECOs and deviations, assess impact on cost, inventory, and schedule; implement changes at the factory.
• Plan prototype and production builds with CMs in US and Asia; resolve build issues with root cause and corrective action.
• Plan and drive regulatory, safety, and EMC certifications (UL/IEC 62368-1, FCC, CE, VCCI); coordinate with labs and agencies.
• Set yield targets, monitor first-pass yield and Pareto analysis; drive test coverage and design fixes to reduce cost.
• Partner with hardware, mechanical, software, supply chain, and quality; escalate risks early and keep leadership informed.
