Arista Networks is seeking a Manager, Electrical New Product Engineering (ENPIE) to lead a focused team of 8–10 engineers, translating advanced SMT PCB concepts into scalable high-volume production. The role sits at the nexus of design, hardware, and contract manufacturing partners.

You will drive DFM, reliability, and quality across the product lifecycle, oversee ECOs in PLM systems, and push continuous improvement in yield, cost, and scalability.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering; Manufacturing Engineering acceptable.
• 10+ years in NPI engineering for SMT and high-layer-count PCBs (30+ layers).
• Experience with PLM systems and ECO/MCO/DEV/PCN processes.
• Strong debugging, failure analysis, and 8D problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8–10 Electrical NPI engineers; bridge between design and CM partners.
• Drive DFM for SMT, PCB assembly, and system integration.
• Oversee process validation, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
• Support NPI from prototype to full production and EOL.
• Manage ECOs and version control using PLM systems (Propel/Agile).
• Lead continuous improvement in yield, cost, and quality.
• Develop best practices for SMT/PCB assembly meeting IPC standards.
• Collaborate with supply chain for inventory efficiency.
