Job summary

Arista Networks is seeking an experienced Electrical Manufacturing NPI Engineer to lead manufacturing readiness and transfer for our data center networking equipment, including high-speed switches and routers. You will bridge Design, NPI and production, driving processes and DFx strategies.

This role requires deep SI expertise, cross-functional leadership, and a track record of bringing complex products from concept to mass production on aggressive deployment schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering with 3+ years in NPI for data center gear.
• Expertise in high-layer count PCBA manufacturing and BGA/FC-BGA rework.
• Experience designing production FT systems and test coverage for complex networks.
• Proficiency with PFMEA, SPC, and DOE methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing readiness for complex, next-generation data center networking products.
• Collaborate with Design, NPI, and production teams across the lifecycle.
• Develop manufacturing processes and DFx strategies for high-speed interconnects and cooling solutions.
• Design and qualify production FT systems and ATE, ensuring BER measurement and fleet readiness.
• Provide Sustaining Engineering guidance to resolve post-launch issues.
