Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking the New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers, influence product design for manufacturability, and guide transitions to rate production. You will coordinate with Operations, Engineering and Program Management to ensure robust, design‑to‑cost programs and effective stakeholder communication.

The ideal candidate has a university degree with 8+ years' experience (or an advanced degree with 5+ years; or 12+ years without a degree),

Qualifications

• University degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma or APQP experience required.
• U.S. Citizenship or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Operations voice is considered in development decisions.
• Build collaborative working environment to accomplish team goals.
• Drive innovation and automation in new product developments.
• Oversight of the early builds and transition builds.
• Prioritize human resources to meet business objectives.
• Lead and mentor engineers on variability reduction to mitigate risk.
