Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Michigan is seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to drive the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing in Wayland. You will collaborate with diverse teams to ensure smooth first runs and scalable processes.

You will work with R&D and manufacturing to optimize designs for manufacturability, develop robust processes for new products, and lead risk mitigation during the NPI phase.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 3+ years in NPI in manufacturing.
Strong CAD skills for PCB design and layout.
Experience with DFM, DFA, and ECO processes.
Ability to troubleshoot and mitigate NPI manufacturing risks.

Responsibilities

Drive transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to optimize designs for manufacturability.
Develop and implement robust manufacturing processes for new products.
Conduct process validation and qualification activities for new product introduction.
Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks during NPI.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for NPI processes and tools.
Support pilot production runs and initial ramp-up activities for new products.
