Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is actively seeking an experienced NPI Engineer in Walker, MI to drive the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing. You will collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and testability.

Responsibilities include developing processes and tooling for NPI, performing first article inspections, identifying risks, and leading continuous improvements across NPI programs. Bachelor's in EE/CE or related field required.

Qualifications

3+ years experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and mechanical drawings.
Experience with PCBA bring-up, debugging, and functional test development.

Responsibilities

Drive the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to optimize product design for manufacturability and testability.
Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment for new product introduction.
Conduct first article inspections and ensure product quality throughout the NPI process.
Identify and mitigate potential manufacturing risks during product development.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for NPI processes and product launches.
Document manufacturing processes, work instructions, and quality control plans for new products.
