Job summary

Astrodyne TDI in Hackettstown, NJ is seeking a hands-on NPI Technician to join our EMI Filters Department. You will assemble power electronic systems and prototypes according to specifications and help create test plans for prototype EMI filters and PDUs.

Work with engineers to identify and solve developmental problems during first-time builds, troubleshoot prototypes, perform failure analysis, and coordinate the transfer of final units to production.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma / GED; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working in electronics.
• Practical understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assembling power electronic systems and prototypes per specifications.
• Assist with creating and implementing test plans for prototype EMI Filters and PDUs.
• Collaborate with engineers to solve developmental problems during first-time builds.
• Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis on prototype EMI Filters and PDUs.
• Interact with production to transfer final units to production.
