This role ensures requests from project and product delivery teams—including development, IT test, business test, and performance test groups—are accurately logged, validated, estimated, and routed to the correct functions.

The analyst provides upfront effort, usage, and indicative cost estimates to enable effective planning while maintaining transparency through dashboards, SLA tracking, and proactive communication.

Key Responsibilities
Request Intake & Validation

  • Validate requests for completeness, including scope, approvals, dependencies, and timing.
  • Provide stakeholders with effort, usage, and cost estimates prior to resource commitment.
  • Categorize and route requests to the appropriate owner (Environment Manager, Change Manager, Incident Manager).
Coordination & Communication
  • Maintain dashboards and reports on request pipeline, SLA compliance, and upcoming allocations.
  • Communicate request progress, blockers, and approvals proactively to requestors.
  • Collaborate with the Environment Manager for demand forecasting and scheduling feasibility.
  • Coordinate with the Incident Manager on access and service requests.
Project & Delivery Management
  • Define activities, responsibilities, milestones, resources, and budgets while ensuring project scope, time, and cost alignment.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks, while developing contingency plans.
  • Track and report project KPIs including schedule adherence, cost utilization, and productivity.
  • Drive scope management, estimation, resource planning, risk/issue management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support testing and defect management processes by ensuring effective prioritization, RCA, and resolution.
  • Apply governance standards, software delivery methodologies, and reusable best practices across initiatives.
Stakeholder & Team Engagement
  • Maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Define communication plans and implement structured reporting mechanisms.
  • Mentor peers on best practices for request management and project execution.
  • Contribute to organizational initiatives, solution structuring, and process improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • 4–6 years of experience in Release, Service Request, or Environment Coordination roles.
  • Proficiency in creating Jira dashboards and reporting key metrics.
  • Familiarity with non-production environments and the full SDLC lifecycle.
  • Strong experience with ITSM and ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy).
