Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, a leader in off-highway equipment, seeks a Manager - Purchasing, New Product Development / Introduction. You will lead a nine-person GPSC team, drive NPD/NPI programs, and partner across engineering, product management, and sourcing to deliver on-time, on-cost innovations.

You will shape category strategies, embed cost visibility, and foster a data-driven, People First culture while advancing talent and process improvements across global programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in supply chain, purchasing, or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including international travel.
• Advanced degree and/or professional certifications supported (MBA, PMP, CSCP, CPSM).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing GPSC team, fostering trust and collaboration.
• Set priorities, mentor team, and drive succession planning and talent development.
• Own key process parameters to ensure on-time, on-cost programs.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Management, and Category Management on program gates.
• Embed Should-Cost reviews and manage risk across NPD/NPI projects.
• Collaborate across functions to align sourcing strategies with program milestones.
