Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a Manufacturing Engineer - NPD to lead process development and readiness for new products from concept to production. You will drive DFMEA/DFA initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth launches.

Responsibilities include defining tooling and equipment, developing PFMEA, and maintaining process documentation, while juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment at our Katy, TX site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience (internship, co-op, or full-time).
• Familiarity with DFM principles, GD&T, and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Exposure to PLM systems and quality tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process development and industrialization in the NPD stage-gate process.
• Define tooling, equipment, and fixturing requirements and drive procurement and validation.
• Support PFMEA/DFMEA and risk mitigation during product development and launch.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Maintain process documentation such as flow charts, routers and WIP maps.
• Manage multiple products across NPD phases.
