Job summary

Pacifi c Scientific Energetic Materials Company in Chandler, AZ is seeking an NPD Manufacturing Engineer to establish robust production-ready processes for new products and support a smooth transition into sustaining production.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Program Management, planning, technicians, Document Control, and suppliers to drive manufacturability and production readiness while applying Lean, PFMEA, and process-improvement methods to reduce risk and improve robustness.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with PFMEA, process documentation, and production readiness.
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration.
• Hands-on manufacturing environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, sequences, specs, routings, and labor standards.
• Create MPs, SWIs, DCNs, and other production documents for NPD and readiness.
• Write clear, practical work instructions for operators.
• Support APDP phases (CET, DVT, qualification, transition).
• Lead Production Readiness Reviews during product handoff to sustaining production.
