Job summary

Ralliant in Chandler, AZ is seeking an experienced NPD Manufacturing Engineer to establish robust, production-ready processes for new products and smooth transitions to sustaining production.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Program Management, planning, technicians, and suppliers; own production readiness and apply PFMEA, Lean, and 5S to improve safety, quality and delivery on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Hands-on experience in a production environment and supporting operators/technicians.
• Ability to develop clear procedures, work instructions, and production documents.
• Strong cross-functional communication with engineering, operations, and suppliers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, sequences, specs, routings, labor standards, and equipment requirements for new and existing products.
• Create and maintain MPs, SWIs, DCNs, and other production documents for NPD builds and readiness.
• Produce clear, practical work instructions with visuals for operators.
• Support APDP phases (CET, DVT, qualification, transition).
• Collaborate with NPD Design Engineers to review designs and assess manufacturability risk.
• Own production readiness planning and lead Production Readiness Reviews during handoffs.
