Job summary

Ralliant in Chandler, Arizona seeks a Technical Writer for New Product Development (NPD) Engineering to create, maintain, and deliver high-quality engineering documentation required for customer and regulatory compliance.

The role collaborates with Test Engineering, Design Engineering, and Program Management to transform requirements into clear, professional documents and to improve writing processes across NPD programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience creating technical documents from multiple source materials.
• Experience with SDRLs or comparable controlled/customer deliverables.
• Experience developing or supporting Engineering Test Plans and/or Engineering Test Reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and support submission of SDRL-controlled documents for NPD programs.
• Synthesize requirements and inputs into review-ready technical documents.
• Develop and revise Engineering Test Plans and Test Reports with Test Engineering.
• Update and finalize Engineering Test Reports after customer review comments.
• Coordinate with Test, Systems, and Design Engineering to ensure alignment with program needs.
• Translate technical requirements into clear, customer-ready documentation.
