Job summary

Eaton in South Milwaukee, WI invites you to a 12-week Product Engineering Internship. You will work with the NPD Engineering team on developing overhead and underground medium voltage devices, performing analyses, creating designs, building prototypes, and running verification tests.

You will learn to apply Design for X, collaborate with global teams, and gain exposure to state-of-the-art labs and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master's degree program in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with graduation no earlier than December 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or above.
• No sponsorship for immigration; must reside within 50 miles of South Milwaukee, WI.
• No relocation offered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sustain, and improve product design and data definitions.
• Learn engineering analysis and digital simulation using advanced tools.
• Support production and manufacturing with prototype builds.
• Collaborate with global design and manufacturing teams.
• Develop sub-system verification tests and fixtures.
