Job summary

TruBlue Technologies in Louisville, CO is seeking a mid-level New Product Development (NPD) Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. You will design, test, and qualify mechanical components and assemblies for new initiatives, ensuring compliance with certification and NPD process timelines.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in product engineering, hands-on lab testing, experience with SolidWorks, GD&T, DFMEA, and a track record launching products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a Product Engineering role; advanced degrees may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components and assemblies for New Product Initiatives; create/update 2D/3D drawings, BOMs, schematics, and test reports.
• Support project execution per the NPD schedule and collaborate with cross-functional team.
• Perform First Article Inspections and advise on design/process changes; support vendor capability.
• Organize verification testing of new product samples and help develop manufacturing plans.
• Assist in obtaining CE Certification or other regulatory requirements.
• Create customer-facing manuals and troubleshooting guides.
• Occasional travel to vendors or end-user sites for validation testing.
