Job summary

Dover Precision Components seeks an experienced New Product Development Engineer to design, execute, and validate components for rotating and reciprocating machinery. You will bridge theory and practice using advanced data acquisition tools.

You will lead testing, validation, and collaboration across engineers, technicians, and researchers to accelerate development cycles while ensuring safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Mechatronics; graduate degrees desirable.
• 3+ years in NPD/R&D/test lab focusing on heavy industrial machinery.
• Experience around high-pressure gas loops and high-rotational-speed equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of technology and new product development projects from ideation to launch.
• Design and validate components for rotating and reciprocating machinery; test rigs and protocols.
• Develop data acquisition setups and LabVIEW architectures for real-time data collection.
• Collaborate with design engineers and lab technicians to ensure safe, efficient test setups.
