Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Design Engineer to serve as the lead design engineer within our Accessories NPD team on-site in Brookfield, WI. You’ll solve engineering problems using 3D modeling, drafting, and data analysis, and collaborate with project management, engineering, quality, product, and operations to support milestones and supplier qualification.

The requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, internship or co-op experience, strong MS Office skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Previous entry level engineering, internship, or co-op experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of 3D Modeling and Drafting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Mechanical aptitude is required including a functional knowledge of design, engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
• Must be a highly motivated self-starter with never satisfied, always improving attitude.
• Must be agile with the ability to work in an ever-changing and flexible environment.
• Ability to travel up to 10% both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Use 3D modeling, drafting, and data analysis to solve engineering problems.
• Prepare and present large mechanical engineering milestone reviews for peer and management review.
• Support supplier qualification and development for prototyping, development, and NPD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Project Management, Engineering, Quality, and Operations.
