Job summary
Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Engineering Design Lead for its Accessories New Product Development team. The role focuses on leading design engineering efforts across NPD, Continuous Improvement, and Value Engineering within the Accessories business unit.
You will collaborate daily with Project Management, Quality, Product Management, Operations, and Supply Chain on-site at our facilities. As an NPD Engineer, you will model and analyze designs, drive trade-off decisions, and help qualify suppliers
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Entry-level engineering, internship, or co-op experience preferred.
- Proficiency with 3D modeling and drafting; strong math and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- 3D modeling and drafting of components and assemblies.
- Assess manufacturing processes and methods for new products.
- Conduct materials science analyses for design decisions.
- Perform static, dynamic, and stress analyses to evaluate designs.
- Establish test regimens and coordinate testing with internal lab.
