Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Supply Chain Manager based in the Dallas area (McKinney or Stafford, TX) to drive supply chain strategies for NPD, Product Extension, and Cost Reduction initiatives. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage supplier relationships, and apply engineering standards to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

The role emphasizes project management, analytical skills, and strong communication with internal teams and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related or technical discipline or commensurate work experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in sourcing or supply chain functions.
• Outstanding project management skills, preferably in front-end New Product Development teams.
• Ability to meet multiple commitments in cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with suppliers in other countries.
• Must be able to travel domestically about 20%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective execution of supply chain strategies and project objectives.
• Manage NPD projects with Design, Marketing, QA and Materials, Buyers, and suppliers.
• Apply RES409 to NPD projects and present deliverables to all levels.
• Manage start-up inventory and materials planning to drive service levels.
• Negotiate supplier long-term agreements focused on performance and cost containment.
• Coordinate with engineers, QA, and procurement for material substitutions and standardization.
