Job summary

Emerson, based in McKinney, TX, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the execution of supply chain activities for New Product Development, Product Extension, and Cost Reduction. You will work with Design Engineers, Marketing, QA, Materials, Buyers and suppliers to deliver on aggressive project timelines.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years in sourcing or supply chain, strong project management, and ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in sourcing or supply chain.
• Strong project management within NPD environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage supply chain strategies for NPD, product extension, and cost reduction.
• Coordinate with design engineers, marketing, QA, materials, buyers, and suppliers.
• Apply engineering standards to NPD projects.
• Prepare and present NPD deliverables to all levels of the organization.
• Manage startup inventory and materials planning to optimize service levels.
• Negotiate supplier long-term agreements focusing on performance and cost containment.
• Assess supplier capability, risk, and contingency planning.
• Travel to suppliers and internal facilities to review capabilities.
