Job summary

Emerson Electric Co. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the supply chain for new product development, product extension, and cost reduction initiatives at our McKinney or Stafford, TX facilities.

The role requires strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier negotiation to meet aggressive development timelines. You will coordinate with engineers, marketing, QA, and procurement to ensure on-time delivery, optimal inventory, and cost containment while applying

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline or commensurate work experience.

Responsibilities

Manage supply chain strategies and project objectives for NPD, Product Extension and Cost Reduction.
Collaborate with Design Engineers, Marketing, QA, Materials, Buyers and external suppliers on NPD.
Prepare and present NPD deliverables per RES409 to all levels of the organization.
Coordinate start-up inventory and materials planning to drive service levels.
Negotiate supplier long-term agreements focusing on performance and cost containment.
Assess supplier capability, cost-benefit, risk, and contingency planning.
Travel to suppliers and internal facilities to review capabilities and quality systems.
Create objectives for team members and drive cross-functional execution.
