Job summary

Sterling Engineering in Dallas seeks a Director of Strategic Supply Chain Management to lead demand and supply planning for complex electronics programs. You will manage BOMs, ERP/MRP, component availability, and purchasing execution while guiding a high-performance supply chain team.

Ideal candidate has a track record of hundreds of millions in annual spend, experience in EMS or hyperscale data-center hardware, and strong executive communication to drive customer success.

Qualifications

• EMS experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Proven track record managing hundreds of millions in annual spend.
• Experience with highly complex products with tens of thousands of components.
• Strong knowledge of demand and supply planning, BOM, ERP/MRP, and purchasing.
• Experience supporting large-scale customer accounts with evolving requirements.
• Excellent communication and executive-level relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead demand and supply planning, material availability, and execution for complex programs.
• Partner with engineering to manage BOMs, component requirements, and changes.
• Translate demand into ERP/MRP plans, PO's, and supply strategies.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, procurement, planning, and operations to resolve shortages.
• Manage supply chain risks with long-lead components and shifting demand.
• Communicate performance and recommendations to customers and executives.
• Build and develop a supply chain team as the business scales.
