Job summary

The Children’s Guild is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists to serve students in the Greater Baltimore area. Roles include part-time and full-time positions, delivering diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services in school settings.

Candidates should hold a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC-SLP eligibility and Maryland or DC licensure eligibility. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with data-driven practices guiding interventions.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Science Disorders.
  • CCC-SLP or eligibility.
  • Maryland and/or Washington DC license or eligibility.
  • Passion for working with children and fostering their growth.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to data-driven, evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

  • Empower children to overcome communication challenges by providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in a school setting.
  • Provide speech-language services in both regular classrooms and in specialized one-on-one or small group sessions.
  • Complete speech assessments for children with educational needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators and professionals to support students.
  • Create all documentation and communicate with school staff and families to support student success.
