Job summary

The Children’s Guild, Inc. in the Greater Baltimore Area is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists to empower students with communication challenges in a school setting.

Roles include both part-time and full-time opportunities to support diverse classroom needs. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC-SLP eligibility; Maryland or DC licensure eligibility is required or expected.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Science Disorders.
  • CCC-SLP certification or eligibility.
  • Maryland and/or Washington DC license or eligibility.
  • Passion for working with children and fostering their growth.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to data-driven, evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services in a school setting.
  • Deliver speech-language services in regular classrooms and in one-on-one or small group sessions.
  • Complete speech assessments for students with communication difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals.
  • Prepare documentation and communicate with school staff and families.
  • Make a lasting impact on students' educational success.

Key Responsibilities:

Empower children to overcome communication challenges by providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in a school setting

Provide innovative speech and language services in both regular classrooms and in specialized one-on-one or small group sessions

Complete speech assessments with children who demonstrate a functional inability to perform in an educational environment

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Qualifications

Ideal Candidates Have:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Science Disorders

Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) or eligibility

Maryland and/or Washington DC license or eligibility
