Job summary

The Children’s Guild is hiring a School Social Worker to support K-12 students and families within our educational programs in the Washington DC area. The role involves promoting social and emotional development, providing therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with school leaders to ensure student success.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Social Work and are LISW/LICSW-eligible in DC or MD. Proficiency with EHRs and school platforms, plus strong communication, are essential for this

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work required or equivalent.
• Licensed or eligible for LISW/LICSW in Washington DC (DC licensure can be applied post-hire).
• Certified or eligible for CPR/First Aid.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with diverse children and families in educational settings.
