Job summary

The Children's Guild in the Greater Baltimore Area is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant for both part-time and full-time roles. Join a mission-driven team to empower students with communication challenges in school settings.

You will conduct diagnostic and therapeutic services, develop IEPs, collaborate with teachers, and document progress. Maryland/DC licensing support and a structured supervision program help you grow professionally while making a tangible difference in

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Science Disorders.
• CCC-SLP certification or eligibility is required/preferred.
• Maryland and/or Washington DC licensure or eligibility is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Empower children to overcome communication challenges by providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in a school setting.
• Provide innovative speech and language services in both regular classrooms and in specialized one-on-one or small group sessions.
• Complete speech assessments with children who demonstrate a functional inability to perform in an educational environment.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of educators and professionals.
• Create all documentation necessary and communicate with school staff and families in support of students.
