MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, ME seeks an experienced NP or PA to join the Emergency Department. You will perform front-end rapid evaluations with the triage nurse to facilitate timely care and make rapid decisions for a diverse patient mix in a busy 24/7 ED.

Benefits include a competitive hourly wage of $95–$115.50, 4 eight-hour shifts per week, and malpractice tail coverage. Candidates should have an accredited APP program, Maine APRN/NP licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least 5 years

MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Emergency Department in Augusta, ME. In this role the APP will be responsible for performing front-end, rapid evaluations of patients in conjunction with the triage nurse to facilitate care. The experienced candidate must be able to make rapid decisions about care. Join a team of 20 physicians and 7 physician assistants 24/7 Emergency Department with an annual volume of 55,000 patients Schedule consists of 4, 8-hour shifts per week

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited APP program
• Active Maine Advanced Practitioner's license
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in an ED setting

Compensation Information

$95.00/hour - $115.50/hour
