MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, ME is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our 24/7 Emergency Department. The APP will perform front-end, rapid evaluations with triage to facilitate care and make rapid decisions.

Join a team of 20 physicians and 7 PAs in a high-volume ED with 55,000 annual visits. Requirements include APP program completion, Maine license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification, with 5+ years ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Active Maine Advanced Practitioner license.
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in an ED setting.

In this role the APP will be responsible for performing front-end, rapid evaluations of patients in conjunction with the triage nurse to facilitate care. The experienced candidate must be able to make rapid decisions about care. Join a team of 20 physicians and 7 physician assistants 24/7 Emergency Department with an annual volume of 55,000 patients Schedule consists of 4, 8-hour shifts per week

Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited APP program
  • Active Maine Advanced Practitioner's license
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in an ED setting
Compensation

$134,612 - $194,612
