Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Nurse Practitioner – Advance Practice to join our Healthcare Operations division. This exempt role reports to the Director of Operations- Advance Practice and provides comprehensive nursing care to residents, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment prescriptions, and referrals.

The NP will conduct exams, order tests, manage care plans, educate patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing with NP certification required.
• Minimum of two years as an RN in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and comprehensive medical and social history of individuals.
• Orders, performs, and interprets laboratory tests for screening and diagnosing.
• Prescribes and orders appropriate medications and other forms of treatment.
• Performs therapeutic or corrective measures, including urgent care.
• Refers individuals to appropriate specialists and healthcare providers.
• Provides education on health maintenance, promotion, illness prevention, and medication use.
• Manages care plans and follow-ups, determining referrals or hospital admissions as needed.
