Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Nurse Practitioner – Advance Practice to join the Senior Services division. The clinician will assess patients, order tests, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans in coordination with physicians and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities include prescribing medications, providing patient education, and coordinating follow-up care. This non-exempt, on-site role requires strong nursing leadership and adherence to policies, HIPAA, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing with NP certification.
• Minimum of two years as an RN in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and English proficiency; able to educate patients.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and medical history; makes independent treatment decisions.
• Orders and interprets laboratory tests for diagnosis.
• Prescribes medications and coordinates care with specialists and other providers.
• Provides health education and counseling on prevention and management of conditions.
• Maintains documentation and follow-up, ensuring appropriate referrals when needed.
