Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Nurse Practitioner - Advanced Practice for its Senior Services division. This non-exempt role reports to the Director of Operations- Advance Practice and provides advanced nursing care to residents/clients.

Responsibilities include conducting exams, ordering labs, prescribing treatments, and collaborating with specialists. The NP will also develop care plans, provide health education, and participate in policy and guideline development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Master's in Nursing and NP certification.
• Two years of RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to travel frequently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in basic computer software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and medical/social history; makes independent management decisions.
• Orders, performs, and interprets laboratory tests for screening/diagnosis.
• Prescribes medications and other treatments as appropriate.
• Provides health education and counseling to residents/clients.
• Maintains care plans, follows up on progress, and coordinates with other providers.
