Job summary

Freedom Corrugated is hiring a Forklift Operator in Hazleton, PA for the Shipping Department. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour with shift differentials. Two shifts are available: 2PM-10PM and 10PM-6AM, with overtime as needed.

In this busy manufacturing setting, you will operate a forklift, support shipping, verify orders, and help keep the area safe and organized. A sign-on bonus and monthly bonuses up to 22% of gross wages are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping experience is a plus.
• Ability to safely move and handle materials in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely to move, stage, load, and unload corrugated products and materials.
• Support daily shipping operations to ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and on time.
• Load and unload trailers while following all safety procedures.
• Verify product quantities and assist with order accuracy.
• Move finished goods to designated staging and storage areas.
• Work closely with shipping team members to meet schedules and customer demands.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any safety or equipment concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
