Job summary

Gilder Search Group is hiring Forklift Operators to join a busy production team in Ohio. You’ll be responsible for safely moving corrugated materials throughout the facility and helping keep production supplied.

We offer all 3 shift schedules and pay between $19.50 and $19.75 per hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and prior forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
• Ability to use a tape measure.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
• Move raw materials from storage to production machines.
• Load and unload materials at designated areas and docks.
• Keep production supplied with the correct materials on schedule.
• Remove finished products from machines and organize storage areas.
• Complete daily forklift inspections and required paperwork.
• Report equipment issues and maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work alongside other forklift operators and support the shipping team when needed.

WE HAVE ALL 3 SHIFT SCHEDULES AVAILABLE!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Manufacturing or corrugated industry experience is a plus
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to use a tape measure
• Strong attention to safety and organization
