Position Overview

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Shift Leader works alongside the Assistant Bakery Manager, Bakery Manager, and team members to create high‑quality cakes, a welcoming environment, and superior guest experience. The Shift Leader shares in team leadership and collaborates with bakery management to drive sales, execute daily responsibilities, and ensure all bakery operations meet NbC standards. As part of a growing brand, this role offers promotion opportunities and carries the NbC culture to reinforce core values for team members and guests.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily bakery operations, train and coach team members, uphold product quality and guest service excellence, drive sales and profitability, implement safety and sanitation standards, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post‑secondary education a plus.
• 1–3 years of guest‑facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food‑service environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success in creating a superior guest experience and coaching others, training new team members, directing team work, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on changing business demands.
