Upstart is seeking an Affidavit Support Specialist in Columbus, hybrid 3 days in the office. You will prepare, review, notarize, and process affidavits in line with contractual obligations and state regulations to support debt recoveries and partnerships.

You will analyze requests, ensure data accuracy across systems, notarize documents, and collaborate with debt buyers, legal and recovery teams. Strong attention to detail and research skills are essential, with Ohio Notary readiness within 60

Competenze

• 1+ year in financial services operations, debt buying, or legal collections.
• 1+ year researching financial accounts and documents.
• Experience reviewing information across multiple systems to resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to obtain Ohio Notary Commission within 60 days.
• Compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.

Mansioni

• Analyze affidavits requests from third parties and prepare affidavits.
• Review work product for completeness and accuracy.
• Notarize affidavits and related documents.
• Ensure accuracy of information in Upstart systems and records.
• Research discrepancies across systems and data sources and elevate issues with a summary of findings and risk.
• Collaborate with debt buyers, legal partners, and internal Legal and Recovery Operations teams.
• Use GenAI tools to accelerate research, summarize documentation, and surface inconsistencies with validation.
• Identify process improvements and share knowledge with peers.
