Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking an experienced Manager to join our outsourced Client Accounting Services (CAS) for not-for-profit clients. You will lead in a cloud-based environment, overseeing multiple client engagements coast-to-coast and mentoring staff on accounting and advisory work.

The role emphasizes GAAP-compliant financial reporting, risk controls, and advisory insights based on industry trends. A CPA is preferred, and not-for-profit experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Experience supporting not-for-profit clients is required.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and/or NetSuite; QuickBooks Online is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide exceptional service to clients including accounting and advisory services.
• Manage production of monthly, quarterly, and financial reports.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure efficient workflows across offices and audit/tax functions.
• Coach, train, and mentor staff on client service, tax, and accounting matters.
• Provide leadership and manage the current client engagement team.
