Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking an experienced Manager to join its outsourced client accounting practice. In a cloud-based environment, you will act as an Accounting Manager for multiple clients across the country, coordinating with a team of professionals.

You will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensure internal controls, and provide insights as a trusted business advisor based on current trends and the firm’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Public accounting or BPO firm experience required
• Five (5) plus years of progressively responsible experience in professional accounting functions required
• Experience supporting not for profit clients is required
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Sage Intacct/NetSuite/QBO experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide exceptional service to clients including accounting and advisory services
• Manage production of monthly, quarterly, and financial reports and benchmarking
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements
• Work with other managers to ensure workflows are efficient and streamlined across offices and between audit and tax
• Coach, train, and mentor staff on client service, tax, and accounting matters
• Oversight and management of current client engagement team
• Provide leadership by promoting teamwork, developing proper training and mentoring, and managing workflows
