Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Manager for Client Accounting Services in a cloud-based environment. You will serve as an Accounting Manager for multiple clients nationwide, overseeing accounting operations, and preparing periodic financial reports.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in professional accounting, GAAP proficiency, and experience with Sage Intacct/NetSuite/QuickBooks Online. CPA/MBA preferred; public accounting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred; public accounting experience a plus.
• 5 years of progressive accounting/ professional services experience required; consulting experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting required.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, NetSuite or QuickBooks Online is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide exceptional service to clients including accounting and advisory services.
• Manage production of monthly, quarterly, and financial reports and benchmarking.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Coordinate workflows across offices and with audit and tax functions to ensure efficiency.
• Coach, train, and mentor staff on client service, tax, and accounting matters.
• Provide leadership by promoting teamwork and managing client engagements.
