Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking an experienced Manager to join its outsourced client accounting practice. You will serve as an Accounting Manager for multiple clients nationwide in a cloud-based environment, delivering best-in-class financial expertise and reporting.

You will lead accounting operations, ensure controls, enhance accuracy of financial results, and act as a business advisor drawing on industry experience and collaboration with Baker Tilly experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Public accounting or BPO firm experience is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; professional services/consulting preferred.
• Experience supporting not-for-profit clients is required.
• Excellent GAAP knowledge and accounting principles understanding.
• MS Office proficiency; Experience with Sage Intacct and/or NetSuite required; QBO a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide exceptional service to clients including accounting and advisory services.
• Manage production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; benchmarking.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Coordinate workflows across offices and between audit and tax functions.
• Coach, train, and mentor staff on client service, tax, and accounting matters.
• Lead client engagement teams and promote teamwork and training.
