Job summary

Experis is seeking a Consultant, Database Administrator in Round Rock, TX to support innovative database solutions within the Data Management Department. You will play a key role in monitoring, backups, and incident resolution to ensure robust performance.

You will design and implement database systems, lead new technology adoption, and collaborate with development teams and senior leadership to deliver scalable, secure data solutions in a fast-paced environment. onsite Round Rock facility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Neo4j on Linux VM & Kubernetes.
• Strong automation experience using Ansible and OLAM playbook development (SDD).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, upgrade, patch, and maintain complex database environments for high availability and DR.
• Deep understanding of database principles, cluster management, replication, and multi-datacenter configurations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide database operations support, including monitoring databases, backups, and incident resolution per procedures.
• Support production databases with focus on availability, capacity, performance, security, and recoverability.
• Design, develop, and implement database systems to meet application and business needs across platforms.
• Lead and manage the implementation of new database technologies for seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with development teams and senior leadership to develop innovative database solutions and strategies.
