Job summary

Experis is seeking a Consultant, Database Administrator for Round Rock, TX. You will join the Data Management team to support innovative database solutions, monitor and maintain databases, and lead the adoption of new database technologies.

The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a proactive mindset to collaborate with development teams and senior leadership. Onsite work in Round Rock, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with NoSQL databases on Linux VM & Kubernetes.
• Strong automation experience using Ansible and OLAM playbooks, with Spec Driven Development (SDD).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, upgrade, patch, and maintain complex database environments for high availability and DR.

Responsibilities

• Provide database operations support including monitoring, backups, and incident resolution.
• Support production databases focusing on availability, capacity, performance, security, and recoverability.
• Design, develop, and implement database systems across platforms and environments.
