Takeda Pharmaceuticals America, Inc. is seeking a Field Reimbursement Associate Director – Northwest to optimize patient access for USOBU therapies.

You will serve as the regional expert on payer coverage, prior authorizations, and reimbursement pathways, educating providers and staff across sites of care. The role requires extensive oncology reimbursement experience, credibility with stakeholders, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, management, marketing or related field.
• 8+ years in biotech/pharma with 4+ years in patient access or oncology reimbursement is required.
• 2+ years of buy-and-bill experience required.
• Experience in specialty pharmacy, payer dynamics, copay assistance, and HUB services is required.
• Launch experience in oncology for oral and injectable products is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to build credibility with stakeholders through cross-functional partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the patient access subject matter expert for USOBU therapies in the assigned geography.
• Educate healthcare professionals on payer coverage, prior authorizations, and reimbursement pathways.
• Collaborate with Here2Assist HUB, Strategic Account Management, Sales and Market Access to optimize patient access.
• Identify and elevate patient access issues, driving timely resolutions with stakeholders.
• Update healthcare professionals on Rx status, program eligibility and patient support options.
• Develop strategies to address access needs for targeted customers and streamline processes.
• Support onboarding of new accounts by assessing workflows and reimbursement challenges.
• Monitor evolving payer landscape coverage changes and communicate with stakeholders.
• Maintain deep expertise in Medicare Part B/D, commercial payers, and state Medicaid policies.
• Document field activities in CRM per compliance and company policies.
