Job summary

Takeda Oncology is seeking a Field Reimbursement Associate Director – Northwest to optimize patient access to the USOBU portfolio. This field-based role reports to the Director, Field Reimbursement Lead - West and partners with Here2Assist HUB, Strategic Account Management, Sales and Market Access.

You will educate providers on payer coverage, prior authorizations, and reimbursement pathways while collaborating to enhance patient access.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is required.
8+ years in biotech/pharma with 4+ years in patient access or oncology reimbursement.
2+ years of buy-and-bill experience and knowledge of payer dynamics.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Willingness to travel 50–75% and reside near OR/WA/ID or close proximity.

Responsibilities

Serve as patient access SME for USOBU therapies in the assigned geography.
Educate providers on payer coverage, prior authorizations, and reimbursement pathways.
Collaborate with Here2Assist HUB, Sales, and Market Access to optimize access.
Identify and triage access issues, driving timely resolution with stakeholders.
Update on Rx status, program eligibility, and patient support options.
Develop strategies to address access needs and streamline processes.
Onboard new accounts by assessing workflows and reimbursement challenges.
Monitor payer landscape and access trends in oncology for the region.
Document field activities in CRM in compliance with policy.
