Job summary

The State of Illinois is seeking a Northern Region Quality Coordinator to supervise staff and drive Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives for State Operated Psychiatric Hospitals.

You will collaborate with hospital quality managers to ensure mental health services meet professional, accreditation, and regulatory standards, and you will assign staff to present project reports to executive leadership.

Qualifications

This full-line supervisor position collaborates with hospital quality managers to ensure mental health services meet professional, accreditation, and regulatory standards, and assigns staff to present project reports to administrative leadership.

Key qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (4 years college)
• Three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in Quality Improvement for a health or human services organization
• Experience performing quality control assessments and monitoring activities
• Experience generating statistical and written reports with policy recommendations
• Supervisory experience assigning work, providing guidance, and evaluating performance
• Experience reviewing accreditation and certification requirements for health and human service organizations
