Job summary

Slate Milk is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth across the Northern California market. You will manage account relationships, expand product visibility, and secure display space with store-level decision makers.

The role emphasizes field-based relationship building, strong merchandising execution, and travel within the territory, with mileage reimbursement offered. Compensation includes base salary and incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience (CPG or retail strongly preferred).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organized, self-driven, and comfortable working independently.
• Territory management or field sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales performance within the Northern California territory.
• Build and maintain strong retailer relationships.
• Sell in displays and secure incremental feature/display space.
• Execute merchandising standards to maximize brand presence.
• Communicate store-level insights and opportunities to leadership.
• Travel throughout the territory (mileage reimbursement provided)
