Job summary

Tait North America Inc. in the Northeast region is seeking a Solutions Engineer to provide technical pre-sales support to Regional Sales Managers across the Northeast United States.

You will act as the design authority for bids, proposals, and RFP responses, translating customer needs into practical, compliant system solutions using Tait technology and selected third-party products. You’ll lead early discovery, design coverage planning, prepare tender content, and collaborate with engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• At least five years of land mobile radio experience.
• Experience responding to RFPs and proposals.
• Proficient with MS Office and presentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate opportunities for fit, feasibility, viability and resources.
• Partner with Regional Sales Managers on discovery, meetings and demonstrations.
• Lead preliminary system design, coverage analysis, and site selection.
• Prepare technical content for tenders, proposals, and RFPs.
• Design integrated solutions using Tait and third‑party products.
