Job summary

JobNimbus is seeking a Senior Business Development professional to own and drive the Northeast field BD strategy. You will build trusted relationships with roofing manufacturers and distributors from New York to Boston, turning those ties into a steady stream of referrals and MRR growth.

You will partner with Sales, SDRs, and Marketing to nurture contractor relationships, plan events, and deliver measurable results across the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development, channel or partner sales, field sales, or territory management.
• Experience in roofing, building materials, home improvement, or SaaS sold to contractors is highly preferred.
• Existing relationships with roofing manufacturer or distributor teams in the Northeast is a major plus.
• Proven track record of generating new business through referral and channel partners, measured by revenue.
• Strong understanding of how residential roofing contractors run their businesses, including retail and insurance restoration work.

Responsibilities

• Own the Northeast territory, including New York, Philadelphia, Boston, DC/Baltimore, Hartford and Providence markets.
• Build and grow relationships at manufacturer and distributor partner teams at multiple levels.
• Build and run a referral program that brings in qualified new business from residential roofing contractors.
• Plan and run field engagements such as branch trainings, contractor events, and partner meetings.
• Develop a territory plan, rank markets by opportunity, and maintain regular partner engagement.
• Design a hybrid engagement model with up to 50% travel and both in-person and virtual activities.
• Coordinate with Sales and SDRs to ensure fast referrals and clean handoffs to partners.
• Track KPIs like referral volume, conversion, and new MRR; provide market intel to Product and Marketing.
